Fine Dining: A lesson in table manners!
On February 11th, the school cafeteria will be transformed into a “fine dining experience for all students to enjoy. (Snow date is February 19th).
There will be tablecloths, decorations, and music for all students to enjoy. Parents will serve the children their packed or bought lunch. Each student will receive a bag of chocolate covered pretzels as a special dessert.
On this day, we encourage the students to dress up nicely and use their best table manners. The annual tradition started with our Character Education program to model traits of love and respect.
We look forward to a wonderful time!
We need your help! If you are interested in serving lunches or setting/cleaning up, please email Jill Marquette or Emily Krushinsky.
Children with Allergies
If your child has an allergy, it is encouraged that he/she bring a special dessert from home to enjoy.
If you are interested in helping out with PTO this year or next, stop by the PTO meeting tonight (February 3rd) in the Bucher Library (2nd floor) at 7 pm.
New members are always welcome and encouraged to attend!
Opportunities to help out are coming up with the Bucher Bistro on February 12. The school cafeteria will be transformed into a “fine dining” experience for the students of Bucher Elementary. There will be tablecloths, decorations and music for them to enjoy. Parents will serve the children either their packed or bought lunch (fancy!).
We encourage students to dress up nicely and use their best table manners! Help is needed for those that have their clearances through the district office. Email Kerry Dierwechter or Heather Groff to volunteer.
